Nested Kinship is Kindred World’s umbrella term for the science of the Evolved Nest (Darcia Narvaez) and its resulting Kinship Worldview (Four Arrows). Nested Kinship frames the resulting unified theory of human consciousness: a ground-up, neurobiologically optimized relational awareness (shaped by the Evolved Nest’s nine components) that naturally cultivates top-down kinship-based perception of self, community, and Earth as one living system.

The Nested Kinship term was created to support the praxis learning experience of Nesting Ambassadors who no longer need to cognitively toggle between “Evolved Nest science” and “Kinship Worldview” in every conversation, checklist, or policy brief. One term encapsulates personal re-nesting and relational activism, community projects, and policy advocacy. This simplifies messaging in families, schools, workplaces, or healthcare—e.g., “We’re building Nested Kinship in our community” instead of explaining two frameworks.
