Nested World Initiative, Co-founder

For over 20 years, Lisa Reagan, through Kindred World, has served as a  cultural steward, synthesizer, translator, storyteller, guide, and amplifier of human consciousness research, especially where it intersects with wellness, wholeness, and worldview transformation. She has been instrumental in integrating consciousness science into lived experience and advancing discussions around the importance of nurturing, empathetic parenting practices, and the broader implications these practices have for society.

Kindred World operates as a platform for sharing knowledge, research, theory, and the emergent praxis that aligns with these values, offering a space for individuals to connect and learn from each other on their journey toward creating healthier family dynamics and communities. Kindred World’s nonprofit vision, stewarded by Lisa Reagan, reveals consciousness is not only an individual process, but a collective, cultural, and relational one— rooted in early life, family, ecological awareness, and Indigenous knowledge.

Key Strategies for Our Emergent Praxis Platform:

Kendra M. Prescott, LPC, M.S.Ed.

Nesting Ambassador Program Guide

Kendra M. Prescott is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with a Master of Science in Education (M.S.Ed.) from the University of Pennsylvania, bringing over a decade of expertise in mental health and leadership development to her practice, Primal Counsel, to the Greater Philadelphia and Rehoboth Beach areas.  Kendra specializes in practices that are born from thousands of years of wisdom and validated by current and leading research. Neuroscience, physiology, and ecology inform and guide her theoretical framework, Acceptance and Commitment Theory. She specializes in somatic and mindfulness-based therapies with integrative approaches to facilitate profound insights and lasting transformation, including nature-based walk and talk therapy, psychedelic assisted therapies, and equine-assisted psychotherapy.

Kendra’s philosophy centers on the innate human capacity for healing. She helps redefine adversity as opportunity and provides a space for exploration without judgment supporting a wide range of concerns, including stress, anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and shame.

Beyond clinical work, Kendra is passionate about cultural, ecological, and institutional influences on mental health. She is committed to sharing the latest evidence-based discoveries to help people understand, and meet, their fundamental human needs as they seek optimal well-being. Whether guiding someone through an existential crisis or elevating leadership potential, Kendra’s empathetic, evidence-informed approach creates a trusting relationship to discover what’s possible together.

Kyle Koch - Storyteller

Kyle Koch is a former IT Software technician turned nature nerd. Kyle quit his 9-5 office job in 2011 to enroll in the Wilderness Awareness Schools 9-month Immersion program in Duvall, WA.

He spent the following eight years both studying and working with WAS, before setting off on his own. Kyle has dedicated his life to helping others reconnect with the natural world.

He has been facilitating transformative experience in nature for over a decade: inspiring youth and adults to connect to their gifts through exploration, play and curiosity. Kyle has taught nature connection skills from folks 4-74 in a multitude of environments all over North America.

He believes the combination of nature skills and community practices can help us create a more meaningful life. When not teaching or facilitating you can find Kyle foraging for food through parkour and natural movement and exploring ways to deepen his connection with himself, others and the Earth.

Laura Augustin - Social Media Deva

Laura Augustin brings a background in psychology and education to her work with Nested World. While her journey began teaching in low-income schools, the birth of her first child led her to find a new calling in caring for her daughter full time. Since then, Laura’s path has continued to center on children, family and community — as a home childcare provider, family portrait photographer, community volunteer, and serving as a board member for two local nonprofits providing community and support for stay-at-home mothers. She has also spent years as a Girl Scout leader.

Laura currently supports Nested World’s social media content creation and management, as well as assisting with administrative tasks behind the scenes as needed.

Outside of work, Laura can be found spending time with her family, which includes her husband and three children, and together they enjoy camping and exploring their home state of Virginia and surrounding locales. Laura enjoys capturing family memories and scenic views through photography, and also paints watercolor landscapes. She has a newfound love for gardening, an endeavor her children have enthusiastically joined in on. She is especially interested in growing native plants. If Laura can ever find a quiet moment, she loves to read.
